DHL Members held a strike vote across Ontario from May 2-6, with overwhelming turnout of the members coming out to vote at the various locations. Unifor members voted strongly 97.2% in favour of a strike action, showing great resilience against the disrespectful and bulling tactics of DHL Canada management.
Taking job action is always the last resort, however this strong strike mandate shows that our members are prepared to do what it takes to ensure a fair contract for all DHL members.
Election Committee Notice
Unifor 4457 is moving towards online voting (if passed by the membership). Members need to only register once to be able to vote in future elections and votes.
All members registering to vote will first need to be verified before becoming eligible to vote in any election by the Election Committee.
The ballots will be securely delivered to personal email addresses provided. Members will be able to vote discreetly using their phones, computers or other devices. The ballot can not be seen by anyone else.
At the end of the election period results will be instantly certified and available
